Human Trafficking and Exploitation Informational Guides

The Human Trafficking Informational Guides provide resources and education on the topic of human trafficking and exploitation. The guides share information tailored towards law enforcement, media, and caregivers, and are available in multiple languages. 

No single sign can definitively identify human trafficking or exploitation. Use these guides to better recognize patterns of control and learn how to proceed if you suspect human trafficking. 

The Informational Guides Provide: 

  • Information about potential traffickers and victims 
  • Proper language to use when discussing human trafficking 
  • Definitions of trafficking and exploitation according to both Minnesota and Federal law 
  • Next steps to take if you suspect human trafficking
