Statewide Health Care Needs and Capacity
Request for Information (RFI)
The Evaluation of Statewide Health Care Needs and Capacity and Projections of Future Health Care Needs Request for Information (RFI)—as required in Laws of Minnesota 2024, chapter 127, article 66, section 23—directs MDH to seek public comment to assist in the planning of a potential comprehensive evaluation of current and future health care needs and provider capacity in Minnesota. The information received through this RFI will assist MDH in defining the scope of the study and answering methodological questions in support of conducting the study, including development of any potential requests for proposals.
- Responses from all interested stakeholders—not just those who can provide the services that will be required to carry out the evaluation or who deliver health care services—will be considered for this RFI.
The RFI will be open to receive public comments from Friday, January 24 to Friday, February 14.
