For Travelers: Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV)
If you have recently traveled to the Arabian Peninsula (Bahrain, Iraq, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Palestinian territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen), and develop fever and symptoms of a respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of breath, you should see a health care provider and mention your recent travel.
CDC does not recommend that anyone change travel plans because of MERS at this time.
