Service Line Inventory Assistance
The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) is now accepting applications for the Service Line Inventory Technical Assistance program. This program is intended to aid Community Public Water Supplies (CPWS) in achieving compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) and Lead and Copper Rule Improvements (LCRI).
The purpose of this round of technical assistance is to determine the material type for any remaining unknowns reported on the CPWS’s initial service line inventory using records review and/or in-home visual inspection. Revisions to the CPWS’s initial service line inventory through this program will be uploaded to the Minnesota Lead Inventory Tracking Tool (LITT).
Only a CPWS staff member or elected official may complete this application.
The application is available from February 18, 2025, through March 14, 2025.
Applications must be received by MDH by 4:30 pm on Friday March 14, 2025.
To apply, complete the application at Application for Technical Assistance with Service Line Inventory Updates at Community Public Water Supplies.
