- Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey (BRFSS): Minnesota BRFSS is a telephone survey that collects data on many topics, including smoking, overweight/obesity, physical activity, fruit and vegetable consumption, chronic disease prevalence, and access to health care.
- Minnesota Adult Tobacco Survey (MATS): MATS is the most thorough source of information about tobacco behaviors, attitudes and beliefs in Minnesota and helps measure the progress of Minnesota’s comprehensive tobacco control program.
- Minnesota Student Survey (MSS): The MSS is administered every three years to students in fifth, eighth, ninth, and 11th grades. It includes questions about a wide variety of youth behaviors, both related to risk and to positive behavior and connections.
- Minnesota Youth Tobacco Survey (MYTS): MYTS measures the use of different types of commercial tobacco products and vaping). It also measures to tobacco advertising, secondhand smoke, and e-cigarette aerosol.
- School Health Profiles Survey: School Health Profiles is a survey of middle and high school principals and lead health education teachers throughout the United States. It monitors school health policies and practices.
