School Health Profiles Survey

School Health Profiles is a CDC-funded survey of middle and high school principals and lead health education teachers throughout the United States. It monitors school health policies and practices.

In spring 2024, states, school districts, territories, and tribes participated in data collection. Two questionnaires were used to collect data—one for school principals and one for lead health education teachers. The questionnaires were administered online to 334 regular public schools containing any of grades 6 through 12 in Minnesota. One or both questionnaires were from 78% of eligible sampled schools. Usable questionnaires were received from principals in 75% of schools and from lead health education teachers in 69% of schools.
