Labor Trafficking Services

Labor trafficking, like sex trafficking, is a public health problem that requires a multi-sector, collaborative approach. Anyone, regardless of where they are from, can experience Labor trafficking and exploitation. Sometimes people experience labor and sex trafficking at the same time.

Victims of trafficking have a number of negative health experiences, including physical and emotional violence, mental health struggles such as post-traumatic stress disorder, and injuries and illnesses related to trafficking. Specialized services help victims recover from the trauma of sex and labor trafficking.

The State of Minnesota and the Office for Victims of Crime in the United States of Justice provide funding for the response of labor trafficking and exploitation in Minnesota.
