WIC PCS Champions

Participant Centered Services (PCS) champions are ambassadors of PCS who support revitalization in a variety of ways, such as:

  • Enhance PCS skills through trainings, readings, and…practice, practice, practice.
  • Share information with co-workers through informal discussions and staff meetings.
  • Communicate with others about barriers staff experience and what support is helpful.
  • Mentor coworkers in their PCS skills.

WIC Mentor Resources

Mentoring is an ongoing process that is mutually beneficial and evolves from a trusting relationship, in which people can experience change, consider adopting new skills and develop their skill set. It is about sharing knowledge, perspective, and insights, in addition to nurturing talent. The precise framework of each mentoring system will be dictated by the needs of the organization and its employees.
