Information for Laboratories
Effective October 2006 rule change MN Statutes and Rules and with the subsequent publication of the list of analytes available for accreditation in January 2007, the MDH Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program offers accreditation for radiochemical analysis of drinking water and wastewater.

Information for Assessors
Currently, the USEPA does not offer a course for technical training of laboratory assessors for radiochemistry. Therefore, MDH began coordinating efforts with the USEPA and other states (Pennsylvania and Wisconsin) to train its laboratory assessors in EPA-approved radiochemistry methods, radiation theory and safety. The training materials and list of trained assessors are included below:
