Regional Profiles

The Regional Profiles offer a comprehensive analysis of communities, populations, and groups essential to health care preparedness and response planning, particularly those most impacted by disasters.

The regions follow the eight (8) Minnesota health care coalitions, and includes data from the U.S. census, surveys, programs, and population-level estimates. Each profile is included in and informs each health care coalition's preparedness plan.

Data from key sources can be used to visualize communities, populations, social vulnerability, and health equity issues by region. Building knowledge and awareness of communities support equitable effectiveness of planning, response, and recovery, facilitating a whole community approach to emergency preparedness.
