WINNIE Information System
WINNIE is a browser-based version of SPIRIT, the eligibility assessment and direct services software used by a consortium of states that includes MN WIC.
WINNIE Questions for the State Office (Electronic Form)
Local Agencies can use this form to submit any WINNIE questions. (The State will respond within 7-10 business days to the person who submitted the question.) Answers will be posted to the MDH WIC website on the WINNIE Questions & Answers page.
WINNIE Training
All clinic training modules have been completed except for Change Household ID, which should be available late July. The modules are listed in the order they should be viewed. The next training modules to be developed will by for Agency Administration (referrals, maintaining providers, potential duplicate participants, and local use questions). These should be available by statewide roll-out.
WINNIE Pilot & Roll-out Schedule (PDF)
WINNIE Pilots phases 1, 2, and 3 will begin on July 9, July 30, and September 5, respectively. Statewide roll-out will begin October 1 and end November 5.

- Correcting HuBERT Referrals (PDF)
The following are step-by-step instructions for correcting issues with Program Topics and Referral Organizations in HuBERT, which need to be resolved as soon as possible. The State Office will verify your referrals have been corrected the week before your agency’s WINNIE roll-out.
Transition Guide (PDF)
This is a working document. It will be updated as new software defects are found, when software defects are resolved, and with any transition issues that may be identified during Pilot. The WINNIE Transition Guide is primarily used as a reference for agencies as they roll out WINNIE. However, there is a section specifically for HuBERT users should they receive a transfer from an agency that has already transitioned to WINNIE.
