Water Guidance for Selected Priority Chemicals
July 2014
In 2011, all nine Priority Chemicals were nominated for review consideration under MDH's Drinking Water Contaminants of Emerging Concern (CEC) program. The CEC program creates guidance values for contaminants found in water (see Protecting Minnesota's Water Resources).
Five of the Priority Chemicals, shown below, have been selected for review. Information about the water guidance is available through the links below:
- Bisphenol A (BPA)
- Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP)
- Cadmium
- Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
- Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
Other chemicals nominated for review by the CEC program can be viewed in the Chemical Nominations Table (PDF).
