Memo
Southwestern Fridley and Southwestern Columbia Heights Special Well and Boring Construction Area (SWBCA) went into effect October 1, 2015. Construction, repair, and sealing of regulated wells and borings within the SWBCA may only take place in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in the SWBCA memo, found at: 2015 Memo (PDF)
Boundaries
Bounded on the west by the Mississippi River, on the south by the Anoka-Hennepin County line (37th Avenue Northeast), on the east by University Avenue, and on the north by Interstate 694. The SWBCA includes: that part of the South ½ of Section 22 lying south of Interstate 694; that part of the West ½ of the Southwest ¼ of Section 23 lying south of Interstate 694; the West ½ of the Northwest ¼ and the West ½ of the Southwest ¼ of Section 26; Section 27; Section 34; and the West ½ of the Northwest ¼ and the West ½ of the Southwest ¼ of Section 35; all in Township 30 North, Range 24 West, Anoka County.
