Laws and Rules
The Minnesota Department of Health enforces Minnesota Statutes, chapter 103I and Minnesota Rules, chapters 4725 and 4727. These regulations are legally enforceable requirements and standards for well and boring construction and sealing, and water quality testing. These regulations apply to public and private wells to protect both public health and groundwater.
