IMG Advisory Committee

The International Medical Graduate Program will be administered in consultation with an advisory committee of stakeholders. The Advisory group will include representatives from:

• the Board of Medical Practice
• the Office of Higher Education
• the Department of Employment and Economic Development
• a health care employer in a rural or underserved area of Minnesota
• a health plan company
• the Minnesota Medical Association
• licensed physicians experienced in working with international medical graduates
• the Minnesota Academy of Physician Assistants
• organizations serving immigrant and refugee communities of Minnesota
• organizations serving the IIMG community
• the Minnesota association of Community Health Centers
• the University of Minnesota
• Mayo Clinic School of Health Professions
• other graduate medical education programs
• Minnesota physician assistant education programs
• immigrant international medical graduates
