Minnesota Trauma Registry Alliance
The MTRA is a voluntary, cooperative organization of trauma registrars in the state of Minnesota.
Trauma registrars from hospitals throughout the state meet quarterly, along with representatives from the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), to discuss and promote best practices in the development, maintenance, and use of trauma registry software and data, and to keep abreast of the latest news and information coming from the state trauma system.
These meetings seek to provide:
- Information exchange to foster standardization among registries.
- Trauma program–related educational opportunities.
- Assistance in the development of new registries and trauma programs.
- Clarity around updates to requirements by the National Trauma Data Bank, the MDH Statewide Trauma System, the Injury and Violence Prevention Program and the American College of Surgeons.
Meetings are held every trimester at various venues across the Twin Cities metropolitan area. All parties with a vested interest in Minnesota trauma registries are welcome to attend.
