MIIC Codes for Data Submission and Exchange

Codes to electronically submit and exchange data with the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC).

    Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with code sets related to client demographics (race, ethnicity, and gender), registry information (registry status, protection indicators, sharing indicators, and identifier types), address (county), and client relationships. Health Level Seven (HL7) and flat file code sets are included.

    Information about vaccine code sets and crosswalks between code sets. MIIC accepts both active and inactive vaccine codes provided by Centers for Disease Control, American Medical Association, and the Food and Drug Administration, including vaccine administered (CVX), Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes, and National Drug Codes (NDC), both unit of sale and unit of use.
