Follow up for abnormal Cystic Fibrosis results will include a sweat test that should happen at a certified Cystic Fibrosis center. A referral can be faxed to the desired CF center after discussion with the family. The family can call to schedule after the referral has been placed using the appropriate scheduling number. Sweat tests are typically scheduled around one month of age to ensure there is enough sweat to complete the testing.

If there are additional clinical concerns related to the screening result, please call a CF specialist to consult.
