Principles of Authentic Community Engagement

Considering principles of authentic community engagement can shift consideration of who is involved, how they work together, and how progress happens.

These shifts can have significant implications for how public health professionals design and implement work, and how policymakers support and work with community-based organizations.

This is not a checklist of "to-do's." Consider these when working with any stakeholders or communities for public health improvement.
