HIV Prevention and Care

  • Perinatal (Mother-to-Child) Transmission
    HIV treatment can prevent HIV from being transmitted during pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding.
  • Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP)
    PrEP is a daily pill that can prevent HIV infection.
  • Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U)
    A person living with HIV who gets and keeps undetectably low levels of HIV can't pass HIV through sex.
  • HIV Treatment as Prevention
    HIV treatment allows people living with HIV to live longer, healthier lives, and it can also help prevent HIV transmission.
