Trauma Hospital Designation Criteria
Criteria Recommendations - New
The State Trauma Advisory Council (STAC) Level3/Level 4 Criteria Work Group presented it's recommendations to STAC on September 9, 2025. These proposed criteria are now available for public review and comment.

Public comments will be accepted until November 17, 2025. Please submit feedback through the public comment collection survey. Comments will be shared with STAC for further consideration and possible action at it's December, 2025 meeting.
Special online meeting sessions will be held to discuss criteria-related information about the proposed recommendations.

They are not intended for discussion or collection of public comments. All comments must be submitted through the public comments survey.

Coffee with the Coordinators
Connect with the trauma system designation coordinators during quarterly online meetings. The informal meeting have no set agenda and are designed to provide an open forum to ask questions and engage in discussion about any issue pertaining to trauma hospital designation. Registering is not necessary, just show up! However, submitting your questions ahead of time will ensure there will be time to address them.
