Minnesota WIC Benefit Utilization Summary
The Minnesota WIC Benefit Utilization Summary includes data on the count of households receiving benefits, percent of households who are using any of their benefits, and the percent of food benefits used (utilization). Report data is provided beginning October 2019.
Use the filter drop downs to tailor the report to the specific months and agency you would like to view for all three visualizations. To see statewide totals, select the "All" option in the Agency ID filter dropdown. The Benefit Category filter drop down only applies to the Utilization of WIC Food Benefits. (See FNS Definitions of WIC-Eligible Foods.)
It is important to note that Minnesota WIC issues benefits by rolling months. This means that benefit month data will not be complete until one month after the last day of the benefit month. For an example, April 2021 data was not final until June 1, 2021. Some months may display in the Benefit Month filter drop down before they are final.
