Three different measures of self-reported pre-pregnancy smoking are reported on this page:
- Among all Minnesota births as reported on the birth certificate
- Among mothers of infants participating in WIC (includes birthing persons who don’t self-identify as mothers)
- Among pregnant WIC participants

* Totals and numbers < 5 are suppressed. Percentages are not calculated for agencies with < 30 participants.
When multiple years are selected, map totals are cumulative.
WIC will maintain at least 3 years of data on our website. For WIC local agency staff, previous years can be found in the appropriate ANNUAL REPORTS folder in Infoview.
