Oral Health Programs and Initiatives
Maintaining oral health and preventing dental disease is important across the lifespan - starting at infancy and continuing as we age. The Oral Health Program works with communities and stakeholders to implement strategies, projects, programs and initiatives aimed at improving oral health in communities throughout Minnesota.
Healthy Teeth. Healthy Baby.
- This community-centered campaign focuses on promoting oral health and preventing dental disease during pregnancy and through infancy to age 3.
SEAL Minnesota
- A statewide collaboration to coordinate school sealant program efforts including data sharing and peer learning.
Brushing for Two
- Brushing for Two focuses on the importance of oral health care during pregnancy.
Water Fluoridation and Oral Health
- Fluoride in community water systems is safe and effective.
School-based Dental Sealant Programs
- School sealant programs (SSPs) bring safe, preventive dental care to schools.
