Lead Poisoning Prevention
M-CLEAN (Minnesota Collaborative Lead Education and Assessment Network)
The number of elevated lead cases in Minnesota continues to decline, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the many diverse partners addressing childhood lead poisoning. As we continue to work towards preventing childhood lead poisoning, the MDH Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention Program has re-established the Minnesota Collaborative Lead Assessment Network (M-CLEAN).
M-CLEAN gathers twice a year to update each other on our work, discuss legislative developments and ways to move our work forward. The most recent M-CLEAN meeting was on May 6, 2026. The meeting was recorded and is available to watch on Webex.
The next M-CLEAN meeting will be in the fall of 2026. The date, time and location will be announced on our web page and the Lead Hot Topics Newsletter. Stay updated by coming back to this web page or subscribe to the Lead Hot Topics newsletter at Sign up for News & Alerts from MDH below.
