2026 National Home Visiting Week
April 20-24

Governor Tim Walz has officially proclaimed April 20-24 as Home Visiting Week in Minnesota.
About the week
National Home Visiting Week is a nationwide observance led by the Institute for the Advancement of Family Support Professionals to celebrate the positive impact of home visiting.
Home visiting professionals play a vital role in supporting Minnesota families, strengthening communities, and improving outcomes for children. During National Home Visiting Week, we celebrate home visitors across our state, and we invite our partners, grantees, and communities to join us in honoring this impactful work.
A message of appreciation
To home visitors across Minnesota, thank you! Your dedication, compassion, and expertise make a lasting difference for children and families across Minnesota.
From,
The MDH family home visiting team
