Schools and Child Care: COVID-19

It is important that everyone in school, child care, youth-serving programs, and camp communities take steps to reduce COVID-19 transmission, particularly to those who are not vaccinated, while balancing the need to maintain a strong system that effectively supports children, youth, staff and communities. Schools, child care, youth programs, and camps should implement layered prevention strategies to the extent possible while also considering educational needs, the social and emotional well-being of children, and the importance of children's access to learning and care.
