Radon Poster Contest

radon poster contest

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) hosted another Radon Poster Contest in fall 2024! The poster contest raises students' awareness about radon in the home while using their imagination and creative skills. High levels of this naturally occurring odorless and tasteless gas can cause lung cancer.

This poster contest was open to children ages 9-14.

Prizes

Two different age groups could receive prizes.

Ages 9-11

1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50

Ages 12-14

1st Place - $100
2nd Place - $75
3rd Place - $50

The overall state winner (just one poster) will go onto the national contest where they can win $1,000 more!
